Women who use marijuana before sex are more likely to have better orgasms, study finds

New research suggests that using marijuana may help women to experience more satisfying orgasms.

A study published this month in the Journal of Sexual Medicine found that women who frequently smoked marijuana were twice as likely to report satisfactory orgasms. Cannabis users surveyed also reported an increase in orgasm intensity, desire, and overall sexual enjoyment.

A team of gynecologists and behavior scientists from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine surveyed 373 women, 176 of whom admitted to using cannabis on a regular basis. Participants were asked about their marijuana use as well as their sexual experiences.
