Sophia Gibson, from Newtownards in Northern Ireland, suffers from Dravet syndrome.
The condition is an extreme form of epilepsy.
The six-year-old was rushed to hospital and placed in an induced coma on July 10, after suffering a seizure.
But she was taken off a ventilator, and began to breathe on her own, the following day.
Why does she need cannabis oil?
Parents Darren and Danielle have said cannabis oil relieves her symptoms.
They said Sophia was previously treated with the oil on a trip to the Netherlands.
