STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.– A Castleton Corners woman is accused of selling cannabis oil and unlawfully stamped cigarettes to an undercover officer on several occasions, authorities said.
Teonba Handy, 39, of Schmidts Lane, is charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia, and cigarettes and tobacco product tax, said the criminal complaint.
Handy allegedly sold the cannabis oil to the undercover cop four times and the illegal smokes on three other occasions, police said.
Authorities executed a search warrant at the Kharrafi Smoke Shop in Castleton Corners last week, and found the defendant with paraphernalia for packaging narcotics, 127 packs of cigarettes and 43 canisters of the oil, said the complaint.
Handy works at the smoke shop, according to a law enforcement source.
