At City Hall: Cannabis study closes April 4

Online survey deadline

St. Albert residents have until Wednesday, April 4 to fill out a city survey on cannabis.

The city of St. Albert launched the survey on March 20 and as of Wednesday they had 1,430 residents share their opinions – a surprisingly good response, considering the city usually expects about 400 responses to a survey. In the first two days 1,040 people shared their opinions with the city.

The city said that the information in the survey helps to inform the residents what the city’s role in legalization is and what bylaws will be impacted, along with allowing residents to share their viewpoints with council. The survey results will also help to identify future needs for communication and services in the city.
