When you think about marijuana users, you probably imagine several different stereotypes that society has created for them. But do you imagine that they’re also happier than most?
A new study of cannabis users found that they tend to be happier and have more satisfaction with life than non-users. According to the study, which was conducted by BDS Analytics, marijuana users tend to make more money, spend more time outdoors and volunteer more than non-users. They also tended to rank higher in personal and social satisfaction.
Another interesting note the study found was the reason why people use cannabis. While we might imagine people buying it to share with friends and have a good time, the majority of people used it for physical, mental or emotional wellness.
