An internationally recognized authority on endocannabinoid pharmacology is set to speak at Colorado State University-Pueblo as part of the second annual Institute of Cannabis Research Conference in April.
Vincenzo Di Marzo is scheduled to present the second annual Mechoulam Lecture during the conference, April 28 at the Belmont Campus.
Di Marzo is a prolific researcher in pharmacology, biochemistry and neuroscience.
The three-day ICR 2018 conference, set for April 26-28, will allow cannabis experts to share knowledge about scientific, medical, industrial, legal, economic and social elements of cannabis research.
The opening address is set to be presented by Pueblo native Audra Stinchcomb, professor of pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Her research has focused on the influence of prodrug physicochemical properties on skin flux, distribution and metabolism.
