September 30, 2016 – Hospital Staff Administers Life-Saving Cannabis Oil to an Infant with Epilepsy

medic-563425_1280Young Amylea Nunez will be the first patient to have hospital staff administer cannabis oil, and she is only two months old. The infant’s parents, Nicole and Ernie Nunez, first noticed their daughter had epilepsy shortly after bringing her home from the hospital, according to globalcurenews.co.

“About a day after we went home from delivery is when she had her first seizure,” Nicole said. “She has a rare form of epilepsy. They just don’t know exactly the type.”

Amylea’s parents tried everything to get their daughter the treatment she needed. They lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico and decided to travel to Colorado to see what else they could do for their baby.
